Flood Guard 5-year limited warranty

Flood Guard stands behind the quality and durability of our flood protection systems. Our panels and hardware are built to perform in demanding environments, including Florida's coastal conditions.

This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage terms for eligible products.

1. Coverage & duration

  • Aluminum panels & tracks: covered for 5 years against structural defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance. Surface-level corrosion, discoloration or oxidation, especially from salt, moisture or coastal exposure, is not covered if it does not affect the product's function or structural integrity.
  • Seals & hardware: covered for 1 year against defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Shipping damage: parts damaged during shipping will be replaced before installation.

2. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or performance issues caused by improper installation or lack of maintenance
  • Cosmetic wear such as fading, staining, oxidation, or corrosion that does not impair performance
  • Any loss, damage, or liability resulting from use of the system
  • Modifications or repairs not approved by Flood Guard

3. Filing a warranty claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact Flood Guard at (727) 599-4275 and include:

  • A copy of your signed installation contract
  • A written description of the issue
  • Clear, high-resolution photos

Claims are reviewed promptly. If the issue is covered, Flood Guard will replace the defective parts at no charge.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Installation & maintenance: warranty coverage requires proper installation and routine maintenance, following local building codes and Flood Guard's care guidelines.
  • Transferability: the warranty may be transferred to new property owners. Contact Flood Guard with updated ownership information and system photos to keep coverage.

5. Warranty registration

No formal registration is required. Your signed contract serves as proof of coverage.

6. Agreement to terms

By purchasing and using Flood Guard products, you agree to the terms of this Limited Warranty. This warranty covers product defects only and does not extend to damage, loss, or failures caused by external events or improper use.
